IT Hotel Playa

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 5 days and it was great. It was great because of Yair! He met us at the reception and instead of just doing the regular check-in made sure to arm us with all the necessary pieces of information required to have the most of our stay in Playa del Carmen. I don't think I've ever encountered such a nice and welcoming person in any of the hotels I stayed before. He explained all the noteworthy activities, showed us cool dinning spots and even helped us to rent a car. All in all, our stay wouldn't be as great without his help! Thanks Yair, you are the best!

We just had brunch here at Catalina. It was delicious! We had the French toast and a Breakfast crosissant sandwich(with an added egg). Both were yummy, though the sandwhich was our favorite. The shop is beautiful and clean. The overall price was great for what we got. Michelle was our waitress and she was fantastic, she was friendly and polite. We would highly recommend trying this place even if you aren't staying at the hotel.

The whole staff is attentive and polite. We had breakfast included, we recommend that you take this option, it’s delicious. It’s a hidden gem, could use a little love upstairs on the rooftop but everything is clean and attended for. Our room was fabulous, ask for a corner room above the second floor is what was recommended on reviews and it’s true, for a little extra but worth it. The experience here was smooth and stress free throughout our planning. The whole staff actually is wonderful. Also IT is perfectly located. A walk away from the action but far enough to escape the noise. Special shoutout to Yair (front desk) and Soli and Michelle (restaurant) who took extra time to make our trip special Cheers!

I visited Catalina, the restaurant, and I loved it! The food looked great and it tasted even better! The chocolate and peanut shake was out of this world! Michelle, our waitress, was always very attentive and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting for breakfast.

Great location and the staff are wonderful. The room is basic but cannot complain for the price point. It was clean. A little noisy but should be expected right in the main tourist area. Nice rooftop pool. We were happy with our stay. We added the breakfast and thought it was a great deal and very tasty.

Very good breakfast and the service- the waiter Gabriel was very attentive and polite. Highly recommend! Edit. I forgot to mention the best receptionist Yair- the most helpful, friendly and kind person I have met so far in Mexico. Thanks to his recommendations my stay in Playa del Carmen was even better than expected.

Perfectly located, IT Hotel is close to everything, yet just far enough from the noisy parts of Playa. We love the Roof top, where they have a fireplace, and lovely dances. Service is magnificent! …drinks are delicious and not expensive.

Suly was attentive and food was delicious. Even a simple eggs with avocado and cibata bread had great flavor and beautiful presentation.
